Invention provides techniques to enable direct, automatic, and transparent network communications to endpoints located behind NAT routers and Firewalls using standard protocols and network stacks.

BALTIMORE, Maryland USA December, 11, 2018 IP Technology Labs®, the global leader of reliable IoT/M2M & VPN connectivity solutions, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued US Patent #10,154,005 covering traversal techniques for establishing direct data paths without outside configuration of intermediate network devices. The invented technology allows apps, devices, and networks to directly communicate with each other, even when located behind a NAT or firewall, without using a third-party proxy and without manual port-forwards or configurations.
